Meng Qinglin Attended the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum and Conducted a Series of Business Activities
From June 16th to 18th, Meng Qinglin, Chairman of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd., led a delegation to Uzbekistan for a series of business activities, further consolidating the company's strategic layout in the Central Asian market and laying a solid foundation for long-term high-quality cooperation and development in the region. Attending the Tashkent International Investment Forum – Showcasing at a National-Level Economic and Trade Event

The 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum is the highest-profile and largest annual core economic and trade event in Central Asia, bringing together dignitaries from multiple countries, industry leaders, and representatives of multinational corporations. At this forum, Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. was invited by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan to participate, presenting a comprehensive showcase of its green and low-carbon technological advantages, project construction achievements, and international expansion capabilities.
On June 17th, Meng Qinglin attended the opening plenary session of the forum. In his opening address, President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev highly affirmed the outstanding contributions made by Chinese enterprises to the construction of Uzbekistan's green energy infrastructure, and explicitly designated the China-Uzbekistan clean energy cooperation projects as landmark projects for the country's energy transition.

During the forum, President Mirziyoyev met with Wang Hongzhi, Director of the National Energy Administration, Yu Jun, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Uzbekistan, and representatives of key Chinese enterprises. Meng Qinglin was invited to join the discussion alongside representatives from major state-owned energy enterprises such as China National Nuclear Corporation, China Datang Corporation Ltd., China Huadian Corporation Ltd., and China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd., as well as representatives from financial institutions including the Export-Import Bank of China.

On the sidelines of the event, Meng Qinglin was invited for an exclusive interview with Uzbekistan's National 24-Hour TV Channel, during which he introduced the company's layout in the green energy sector and its future cooperation plans to both domestic and international audiences.

Meng Qinglin was invited to attend the Symposium of Central State-owned Energy Enterprises in Uzbekistan, hosted by the National Energy Administration. At the symposium, Meng provided a detailed report on the operational performance of China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd. and Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd.'s projects in Uzbekistan, as well as the company's medium- and long-term green and low-carbon business development plans. The attending leaders highly praised Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd.'s deep engagement in the Uzbekistan market, its contribution to local energy transition, and its tangible achievements in localization.

In-depth Talks and Cooperation Agreement Signing with Linde plc

Meng Qinglin held talks with the delegation from Germany's Linde plc. Both sides exchanged views on project cooperation in the chemical sector, comprehensive utilization of industrial gases, and carbon reduction technologies, and conducted in-depth discussions on future technical collaboration and project cooperation in Uzbekistan and third-party markets. Subsequently, Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd., Linde plc, and Joint Stock Company "Uzkimyosanoat" jointly signed a project cooperation agreement.
Signing Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation for Photovoltaic Projects with the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mirzamahmudov Jurabek Tursunpulatovich, spoke highly of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd.'s professional technical strength and execution capability. He signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation for Photovoltaic Projects with Zuo Dayong, aiming to launch new photovoltaic power plant cooperation and promote the green energy transition in Uzbekistan.

Meng Qinglin and his delegation visited the company's key invested project in Uzbekistan – the Navoiyazot Green Energy Low Carbon Project site – to extend condolences to overseas frontline employees, gain a detailed understanding of the project's construction status, and conduct a comprehensive and meticulous safety inspection of key construction areas including the Photovoltaic Area, Step-up Substation, and Switching Station. He fully affirmed the phased achievements of the project and emphasized the following: First, all parties must firmly fulfill their responsibilities, enhance the quality and efficiency of safety hazard identification and rectification, and ensure all protective measures are effectively implemented; second, strengthen control over critical links, pay close attention to high-risk operations such as work at height and live-line work, fully identify risk exposure, and fortify the safety defense line; third, strictly adhere to compliance requirements, ensuring full-process and all-round compliance in overseas business activities; fourth, strive to build overseas benchmark projects, demonstrating Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd.'s strong capabilities and positive image in "going global" through high-standard delivery.
This visit yielded substantial results, strengthening the foundation for government-enterprise cooperation, clarifying the supporting conditions for the implementation of new projects, and expanding international cooperation resources and channels. Going forward, the company will continue to deepen its presence in overseas green markets, accelerate the commissioning of projects under construction, promote the implementation of new projects, and strengthen overseas safety management.
